Who we are

PreserveVault (“we”, “the app”) is a mobile application and website for home food preserving guidance, operated in connection with Bodhi Builds. Website: https://www.preservevaultapp.com. Support: support@preservevaultapp.com.

What the app stores on your device

Depending on features you use, the app may store locally:

• Recipe data bundled with the app
• Your vault / inventory batches (on-device database)
• Shopping list items
• Preferences such as metric vs US units, safety-disclaimer acceptance, and whether Premium features are unlocked on this device

In the current design, vault and shopping data stay on your device unless you later enable a cloud sync or account feature (not required today).

Purchases and subscriptions (Premium)

PreserveVault may offer an optional paid Premium subscription (for example monthly or yearly) through the app stores. Planned list prices for Android are in Australian dollars (AUD) — currently about A$7.99 per month or A$49.99 per year. Exact prices shown in the store or app may vary by country, taxes, and Google’s localisation.

Payments are processed by Google Play (or, later, the Apple App Store if we release on iOS). We do not collect or store your full credit card number. Google (or Apple) processes the payment under their own terms and privacy policies.

• We may receive from the store only what is needed to know whether your subscription is active (for example purchase or restore status) so the app can unlock Premium features such as unlimited vault batches and premium-only recipes when those features are offered.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Subscriptions (or the equivalent on Apple). Cancelling stops future renewals according to store rules; access usually continues until the end of the paid period.
• Core safety tools and free recipes are intended to remain available without a paid subscription. Premium is optional.

A future higher tier (for example Premium Plus with step-by-step videos) may be offered later under the same store billing model. We will update this policy and the app if that changes what we process.

Internet use

The app may use the internet to:

• Process in-app purchases and restore subscriptions via Google Play (or Apple later)
• Play or open video links if you choose to watch them
• Open external websites you choose to visit
• In a future version: load news from this website (data/news.json or similar)

Third-party services (Google Play, YouTube, your browser, and similar) have their own privacy policies.

Website

This website is primarily static information. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be collected by the hosting provider (e.g. for security and traffic). Support emails you send us are read to respond to your request.

Children

The app is intended for adults engaged in home food preservation. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region).

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app or site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
